Job summary

ID Sculpture, a PlayCore company, seeks Production Assistants to support fabrication teams making climbing boulders, playground sculptures, and public art installations. This hands-on role offers year-round indoor/outdoor work in a creative setting with travel and advancement opportunities.

Benefits include 80 hours PTO, 10 paid holidays, health/dental/life insurance, and a matching 401(k). Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and read a tape measure.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sculpt and shape over rebar and lath substructures to create detailed sculptures according to project designs.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and team members to ensure artistic vision and structural integrity.
• Use sculpting tools to achieve textures, shapes, and finishes.
• Inspect and refine surfaces to meet project requirements.
• Prepare and set up materials including rebar, lath, GFRC mixtures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.

Education

Prior Manufacturing experience is a plus
