The Michaels Companies, Inc. in American Fork, UT is seeking an energetic Event & Party Host to plan and coordinate kids' parties and crafts inside the store.

You will engage guests of all ages, guide them through activities, and ensure a fun, stress-free experience while delivering fast checkout support. You will manage multiple events, set up and break down, arrange add-ons like balloons, and communicate with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and children’s events.
• Excellent people skills and ability to engage guests of all ages.
• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Plan and coordinate events at Michaels, including children’s birthdays and craft classes.
• Demonstrate and teach craft activities; perform face painting and other activities as needed.
• Set up, run, and break down events; manage add-ons like goody bags and balloons.
• Help customers shop, guide product selection, and ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Coordinate with clients and store team; handle emails and calls as required.
