Job summary

Inkitt is building the Disney of the 21st Century, leveraging AI and predictive algorithms to discover unknown stories and turn them into blockbuster hits. The role focuses on owning the creative vision across AI-generated film projects and translating traditional directing into AI production workflows.

You will collaborate with writers, editors, and production teams to ensure storytelling quality and innovation in AI-native entertainment.

Qualifications

• Professional narrative directing experience in independent film, television, or related fields.
• Ability to analyze scripts and develop story with constructive feedback.
• Editorial review experience, directing edits, pacing, color and sound guidance.
• Strong visual storytelling fundamentals: shot composition, storyboarding, cinematic language.
• Production experience collaborating with writers, editors, producers and teams.

Top 5 Hard Skills + Channel Experience

• Professional narrative directing experience (independent film, television directing programs, narrative shorts, music videos, or similar)
• Script analysis and story development, including breaking down scripts and providing creative feedback
• Editorial review experience, giving direction on edits, pacing, color correction, and sound design
• Visual storytelling fundamentals, including shot composition, shot selection, storyboarding, and cinematic language
• Professional production experience, collaborating with writers, editors, producers, and creative teams in a production environment
