Translation, an award-winning independent creative agency, is seeking a Creative Director, Art to join our Brooklyn headquarters. The role focuses on clients and projects that speak to the African American community, requiring cultural fluency and trend awareness.

As CD, Art you will lead bold visual concepts, mentor teams, collaborate with strategy and clients, and drive world-class ideas across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely development and execution of campaigns that meet client objectives and break new ground.
• Develop creative solutions that defend budgets and measurement goals for profitable work.
• Guide creative direction and advise on client team projects.
• Apply industry-leading principles to innovative campaigns and interaction designs.
• Ensure high-quality work on time, on budget, using appropriate technology.
• Set verbal and visual tone for creative work in internal and external reviews.
• Lead and motivate staff, conveying the agency vision and values.
• Train and supervise assigned creative teams.
• Collaborate with core leadership to align on recommendations and opportunities.
• Help resolve internal challenges.
