Burson Global, part of WPP, is a global communications leader built to create value through reputation. In this AI-enabled role, you will help shape how earned-first storytelling moves at machine speed while maintaining brand integrity, ethical AI governance, and legal/IP compliance.
You’ll join a creative team recognized with Cannes Lions, Clios, One Show, New York Festivals, SABER, and PRWeek awards. Burson’s creative group works across the full client roster to ideate, develop, and produce earned-first campaigns, built by a mix of designers, writers, producers, and creators from different backgrounds, cultures, and points of view.
About the role
As Creative Director, you will lead creative direction for TWITCH LAB, a newly concepted rapid-response capability designed to meet quick-turn creative asset demands from clients. While executions will often focus on digital content and corporate or crisis communication storytelling, the North Star is reputation-enhancing content that can move quickly without sacrificing high-impact human craft. This work blends generative AI tools with rigorous creative leadership to redefine corporate storytelling at speed and scale.

- Lead creative concepting under compressed timelines, driving rapid-response variants across digital, social, video, and executive communications.
- Oversee proper use of TWITCH LAB while also tending to the work itself, building a culture of creatives focused on defining a new way of corporate story-telling at speed and scale.
- Ensure outputs meet client brand standards, maintain visual consistency, and comply with legal/IP requirements.
- Champion responsible AI workflows, including rules for executive likeness protection, synthetic media disclosures, and client data security.
- Present creative concepts and scenario-tested options confidently to C-suite executives, client leaders, and internal partners.
- Manage, direct, and mentor a multidisciplinary studio team (writers, designers, editors, producers), supporting continuous learning, experimentation, and speed.
- Integrate LAB output into Burson’s broader Creative, Strategy, and Insights & Intelligence (I&I) practices.
- Oversee quick-turn asset development spanning ad-like digital content, quick-turn executive videos for internal employee campaigns, infographics to help debunk disinformation in real time, and other multi-channel disciplines.
- Partner closely with senior account leads, clients, strategic intelligence leads, and extensions of the creative team to create and execute reputation-driving content.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of progressive creative leadership experience in an agency, production studio, or corporate communications environment.
- Experience and knowledge of generative AI creative tools across text, image, video, voice, and workflow automation.
- Proven track record developing high-stakes corporate messaging, crisis responses, executive decks, and brand reputation campaigns.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating innovative visual and narrative campaigns, high-end content execution, and creative leadership.
- Exceptional ability to stay calm and decisive under high pressure, leading teams during hour-one breaking news events.
- Ability to bridge data-driven intelligence with creative execution to earn attention and protect client reputation.
