ABOUT ARTS BONITA
Arts Bonita is a premier cultural organization in Southwest Florida, offering concerts, professional theatre productions, exhibitions, three National Fine Art Festivals, and visual and performing arts classes for all ages across a wide range of disciplines. With two campuses, more than 100,000 annual visitors, and over $250,000 invested annually in scholarships and outreach, Arts Bonita connects the community through the arts. The organization has doubled its budget over the past three years and is embarking on a major capital campaign and expansion of its Visual Arts Campus. The Creative Director will help communicate this next stage of growth.
As Arts Bonita continues to grow and embarks on a major campus expansion, we seek a talented, hands-on Creative Director to elevate our brand, tell our story, and bring the breadth and energy of our programs to life.
Compensation includes a base salary with the opportunity for a performance-based bonus tied to mutually agreed-upon goals and measurable results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Strengthen Arts Bonita’s visual identity and maintain consistent brand standards across advertising, email, social media, websites, printed materials, and campus signage.
- Design and produce advertisements, brochures, season guides, class catalogs, performance programs, invitations, signage, presentations, and digital assets.
- Collaborate with Arts Bonita’s graphic designer to divide creative assignments, coordinate workloads, and maintain consistent quality.
- Develop fundraising and sponsorship materials for Off The Walls, the Arts Bonita Scholarship Classic Golf Event, donor appeals, and the capital campaign and campus expansion.
- Direct photography, video, and visual storytelling featuring artists, performers, students, faculty, patrons, and donors, including the impact of scholarships and outreach.
- Manage creative projects from concept through approval, production, and delivery, aligning deadlines with ticket launches, class registrations, advertising schedules, and events.
- Coordinate assigned creative staff, freelancers, photographers, videographers, printers, and other vendors; manage assigned production budgets.
- Prepare production-ready files, oversee printing and delivery, and ensure accuracy, proofreading, accessibility, and appropriate sponsor recognition.
- Maintain organized creative assets and use campaign results and audience feedback to refine future work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least five years of progressive experience in graphic design, art direction, or creative services, including experience leading projects or creative collaborators.
