Job summary

Baltimore Corps is seeking a Creative Designer with a strong background in instructional design, media creation, and graphic design to develop engaging learning materials and training resources for healthcare finance contexts.

The role blends creativity with instructional strategy to build curricula, facilitator guides, presentations, and multimedia content. Portfolio samples will be requested after initial review of resumes and cover letters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in instructional design, graphic design, multimedia design, or a related role.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong design principles and visual communication skills.
• Experience creating instructional materials such as facilitator guides, manuals, and presentations.
• Healthcare finance industry experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating instructional design and creative work.

Responsibilities

• Design print, web, video, and interactive multimedia solutions for training and education initiatives.
• Create blended learning solutions using varied instructional techniques and media assets.
• Develop curriculum materials including facilitator guides, participant manuals, and presentation decks.
• Collaborate with senior team members and SMEs to design and implement learning solutions.
• Produce instructor-led, eLearning, mobile, and web-based training deliverables.
• Craft visuals and presentations aligned with branding standards.
• Create 2D/3D animations and motion graphics for educational content.
• Draft concepts from design through production and develop interface designs and mockups.
• Capture, edit, and retouch photography and other assets; produce audio/video content.

Job description

Our client is seeking a Creative Designer with a strong background in instructional design, media creation, and graphic design to develop engaging learning materials and training resources. This role combines creativity with instructional strategy to build comprehensive curricula, facilitator guides, presentations, resource libraries, and multimedia learning content. The ideal candidate will have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, curriculum development, and creating visually compelling educational materials. Experience with Workday Learning and a healthcare finance environment is highly preferred.

Portfolio samples or a portfolio link will be requested after our initial review of resumes and cover letters.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging print, web, video, and interactive multimedia solutions for training, education, and communication initiatives.
• Create blended learning solutions using a variety of instructional techniques and media assets.
• Develop curriculum materials including facilitator guides, participant manuals, presentation decks, pre-work, post-work, case studies, and resource libraries.
• Partner with senior team members and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and implement learning solutions that support performance-based training.
• Produce instructor-led, eLearning, mobile, and web-based training deliverables.
• Design visually compelling graphics and presentations that align with organizational branding standards.
• Create 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and multimedia content for educational purposes.
• Draft graphic concepts from initial design through final production.
• Develop interface designs, wireframes, responsive layouts, and mockups.
• Capture, edit, and retouch photography and other visual assets.
• Produce and edit audio and video content, including post-production and asset management.
• Assist with storyboard development and organize multimedia assets for production.
• Use SharePoint and other content management systems to publish and manage learning materials.
• Set up, maintain, and archive production equipment and digital assets.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Art, Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communication, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in instructional design, graphic design, multimedia design, or a related role.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and related applications.
• Strong understanding of design principles, including color theory, typography, and visual communication.
• Experience creating instructional materials such as facilitator guides, manuals, presentations, and learning resources.
• Healthcare finance industry experience.
• Ability to provide a portfolio demonstrating instructional design and creative work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Workday Learning.
• Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
• Proficiency with Adobe After Effects or other motion graphics software.
• Experience with 3D graphics software such as Cinema 4D or Maya.
• Experience with photo retouching and image manipulation.
• Experience producing and editing audio and video using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
