Magnit is seeking an Associate Manager of Creative Development to help push high-quality live performances and audio programs from concept through execution. You will collaborate with teams in Newark and Manhattan, guiding writers and producers and ensuring timely production schedules.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, budget management, and project leadership skills, with experience in theatrical production and audio projects. This is a full-time on-site role based in Newark, NJ.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience independently managing creative producing projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of theater-based content in collaboration with senior team members.
• Participate in developing and overseeing projects, stepping in on existing projects.
• Give creative guidance to writers, producers, and creators on outlines and scripts.
• Serve as communication hub for all production activities.
• Coordinate creation and maintenance of production schedules.
• Project manage production processes for live performances and audio from planning to execution.
• Attend rehearsals, tech, previews, performances and events.
• Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure clear communication between teams.
• Attend staff meetings.
