Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Cook to join our culinary team in Lowell, MA. You will prepare a variety of dishes, follow production guidelines, and maintain high food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will set up stations, measure ingredients, and use ovens, mixers, and other equipment while delivering excellent guest service and teamwork. This role may require standing for long periods and adhering to PPE policies.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Use utensils safely and operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and cook meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange and portion food according to guidelines and store safely.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment; maintain guest service standards.
