Follow production guidelines and safety procedures, prepare meals, set up your workstation, and maintain clean, organized work areas while delivering friendly service to guests. This hands-on, fast-paced kitchen role rewards creativity, reliability, and a commitment to food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation methods and safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
