Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety basics.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Strong math and counting skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel ingredients.
• Safely handle and operate utensils and cooking equipment.
• Cook using diverse methods for meats, vegetables, and other foods.
• Plate, garnish, and portion food per established guidelines.
• Store food safely and maintain sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Provide courteous customer service and uphold safety policies.
