In this role you’ll set up stations, measure ingredients, and master a variety of cooking methods. It’s a hands-on position emphasizing quality, guest service, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and food safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, and prep ingredients as required.
• Safely use knives and kitchen tools.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and prepare foods to standard.
• Garnish and portion foods per guidelines and maintain sanitation.
