Aramark is seeking a Cook to help bring recipes to life using fresh ingredients and modern equipment. You will be immersed in diverse cuisines while following production guidelines and safety procedures. This role emphasizes creativity and quality in food preparation.

The position requires experience as a cook or in a related role, knowledge of core cooking methods and food safety, and the ability to obtain food safety certification. Strong math and communication skills are important for success.

Formación

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods and food safety.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines.
• Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and staff.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including body of food safety and sanitation.
• Ensures security of company assets.
