Qualifications

Experience as a cook or in a related role
Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods
Ability to obtain food safety certification
Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
Strong communication with guests and team members

Responsibilities

Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and guidelines
Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment
Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming and peeling
Safely use knives and kitchen tools
Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment
Bake, roast, broil, steam and use diverse cooking methods
Plate and portion foods according to guidelines
Store food safely and maintain sanitation in the work area
Maintain positive customer service and professional demeanor
Follow Aramark safety policies and protect company assets
