Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a Cook to join our team in a fast-paced environment. You will cook and prepare a variety of foods, set up stations, and ensure food safety and quality in line with guidelines.

You will work with fresh ingredients and modern equipment, while delivering friendly service to guests and collaborating with teammates. The role emphasizes safety compliance, proper storage, and maintaining a clean work area, with opportunities to creatively contribute to menu execution and guest

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation methods and food safety regulations.
• Ability to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses multiple cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines.
• Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests and coworkers.
• Adheres to safety policies and sanitation procedures.
