The role emphasizes teamwork and delivering quality food with a focus on health and safety. Responsibilities include preparing a variety of foods, setting up stations, measuring ingredients, and using diverse cooking methods.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.
• Basic math/counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel ingredients.
• Safely use knives and other utensils.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and use various cooking methods.
• Portion and present food per guidelines and garnish appropriately.
• Maintain sanitation and safety of work areas and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor to guests and coworkers.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and protect company assets.
