Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food prep principles, cooking methods, and safety regs.
• Able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with team and guests.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, and peeling.
• Safely use utensils and operate ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and apply various cooking methods.
• Portion and garnish foods according to standards.
• Store food per safety policies and sanitize areas and equipment.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor.
