Job summary

Aramark seeks a dedicated Cook to join our team. You will prepare a variety of foods using recipes, contribute to menu experiments, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.

In a fast-paced setting, you’ll set up stations, handle ingredients, operate ovens and equipment, and provide friendly service to guests. Prior cooking experience and food safety certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Working knowledge of food preparation methods and safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely use utensils and operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and other methods on meat and vegetables.
• Maintain proper storage, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
