Aramark is hiring a Cook to bring recipes to life with creativity in food preparation. You will work with fresh ingredients, follow safety guidelines, and explore diverse cuisines while maintaining high sanitation and customer service standards.

The role requires prior cooking experience, knowledge of food safety, ability to obtain certification, and basic math and communication skills. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for skill development within the Aramark

Qualifications

Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.

Responsibilities

Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to guidelines and recipes.
Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use different cooking methods on meats and vegetables.
Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.
Store food per safety policies and maintain sanitation.
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils.
Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
Adhere to Aramark safety policies and protect company assets.
