Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods
• Ability to obtain food safety certification
• Basic math and counting skills

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and guidelines
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment
• Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel ingredients
• Safely use utensils and operate ovens, stoves, and mixers
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and employ multiple cooking methods
• Portion and plate food following established guidelines
• Store food properly and follow food safety policies
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
• Provide courteous customer service and teamwork
• Follow Aramark safety policies and protect company assets
