Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, and portioning.
• Safely use utensils and operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, and other equipment.
• Cook using diverse methods (bake, roast, broil, steam) for meats, vegetables, and more.
• Plate and garnish foods per guidelines; store food properly following safety policies.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and equipment; uphold excellent guest service.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and ensure asset security.
