Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, and chopping items.
• Safely use utensils and operate ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and use diverse cooking methods.
• Plate and portion foods per guidelines; store per safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and provide good guest service.
