Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook a variety of meals, following recipes and production guidelines, while applying creative techniques to enhance flavors.

You will set up your workstation, measure ingredients, and operate ovens and other equipment safely. Strong math and communication skills help ensure accuracy, portion control, and superb guest service. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation methods and safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of foods according to recipes.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, and chopping.
• Safely uses utensils including knives and maintains equipment.
• Bakes, roasts, steams, and uses multiple cooking methods.
• Portsioning, garnishing, and presenting food per guidelines.
• Stores food properly and adheres to safety policies.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
• Provides excellent customer service and maintains a positive demeanor.
• Follows Aramark safety policies and protects company assets.
