Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented bakery associate responsible for preparing and decorating cakes for various occasions. The role includes managing cake dates, processing orders, and maintaining the cake case and inventory.

You will also interact with customers and team members, ensuring sanitation standards and presenting attractive displays. There may be opportunities to work in deli and bakery areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions.
• Fill and condition the cake case throughout the shift.
• Manage cake out-dates daily.
• Receive and process cake orders.
• Manage cake and icing inventory.
• Operate cake decorating station following sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a positive, friendly relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stock and maintain product displays to merchandising standards.
• Potential to work in deli and bakery areas.
