Job summary

Meijer is seeking a cake decorator to prepare and decorate cakes for various occasions and maintain the cake case throughout the shift. The role includes daily management of cake out-dates and handling cake orders.

You will also manage cake and icing inventories, prep icing, and ensure sanitation procedures are followed. A friendly attitude toward customers and teamwork with staff and leadership is essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing cake out-dates daily.
• Receiving and processing cake orders.
• Managing cake and icing inventory.
• Managing cake decorating station to include preparing icing's and following all sanitation procedures.
• Maintaining a positive, friendly working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stocking and maintenance of product and product displays according to quality and merchandising standards.
• Potential for working in our deli and bakery areas.
