Meijer Inc. is seeking a Cake Decorator to craft decorated cakes for a variety of occasions and to maintain cake displays throughout the shift. The role will also involve managing cake orders and ensuring proper shelf life and presentation.

Candidates should be detail oriented, creative, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment while delivering friendly service to customers and supporting the deli/bakery departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience decorating cakes or working in a bakery environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in decorating and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Decorate and finish cakes for various occasions.
• Fill and condition cake cases during shifts.
• Manage cake out-dates and cake orders.
• Handle cake and icing inventory and stock levels.
• Maintain clean and organized decorating station and work areas.
• Assist in deli and bakery areas as needed.
• Provide friendly customer service and support to the team.
