Job summary

Meijer is seeking a bakery/cake decorating position. You will prepare and decorate cakes, manage the cake case, and assist with receiving orders and inventory. You’ll work to maintain quality displays and uphold sanitation standards while delivering friendly service to customers.

This role may involve working in deli and bakery areas and supports a family-friendly store culture focused on community and growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions.
• Fill and condition the cake case throughout the shift.
• Manage cake out-dates daily.
• Receive and process cake orders.
• Manage cake and icing inventory.
• Operate cake decorating station and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stock and maintain product displays per merchandising standards.
• Possible work in deli and bakery areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
