Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Deli Bakery Department.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Understand ingredients, mixes, icings, and color coordination.
• Follow production standards and labeling guidelines for products.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling in the department.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, preparation, and merchandising per policies.
• Adhere to company guidelines and standard practices.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Report accidents per established procedures to the Manager on Duty.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with apron and name badge, maintaining a neat appearance.
• Use inventory tools (ACIS) and ordering (CAO) as required.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
