Job summary

McKeever Price Chopper is seeking a Cake Decorator to craft custom cakes, cupcakes, and baked goods. You will design and decorate desserts to meet customer requests, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure quality in display cases with attention to current design trends.

The role emphasizes precision, creativity, timely order fulfillment, and strong customer service. Training and food handler permit support are provided as needed to join our bakery team.

Qualifications

• Experience in cake decorating or bakery production
• Strong attention to detail and a creative eye
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions for custom orders
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
• Willing to obtain a food handler permit (assistance provided)

Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and desserts with precision and creativity according to orders
• Take and fulfill custom cake orders accurately and on time
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area, tools, and equipment
• Package, label, and stock finished bakery products for sale
• Ensure proper rotation and quality of products in the display case
• Maintain awareness of current design trends and seasonal offerings
• Assist with general bakery production and support team members
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to bakery-related inquiries
