McKeever Price Chopper is hiring a Cake Decorator to design, decorate, and prepare cakes and desserts to meet customer requests and brand standards. You will bring birthdays, weddings, and everyday treats to life with creativity and precision.

The role emphasizes working on custom orders, maintaining a clean workstation, and ensuring timely delivery while delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced bakery setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience in cake decorating or bakery production required.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for design.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions for custom orders.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
• Willing to obtain a food handler permit (assistance provided by McKeever's).

Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and desserts with precision and creativity according to customer orders and display standards.
• Take and fulfill custom cake orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area, tools, and equipment.
• Package, label, and stock finished bakery products for sale.
• Ensure proper rotation and quality of products in the display case.
• Maintain awareness of current design trends and seasonal offerings.
• Assist with general bakery production and support team members as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to bakery-related inquiries.
