Job summary

Mountain Creek Resort in Vernon, NJ is seeking a Bartender to professionally serve alcohol and guide guests through menu selections. You will greet guests warmly, maintain inventory, and support a positive team atmosphere.

The role requires 1–2 years of bartending experience in a busy setting and strong communication, with a focus on cleanliness and safety. This position is onsite at Mountain Creek’s multi-facility resort environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 year of Bartending experience in a high-volume establishment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional, mature, and friendly demeanor.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Must have knowledge of basic cleanliness and sanitation practices.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledgeable in all areas of the bartending field.
• Ability to work in a fast, upbeat environment.

Responsibilities

• Create new drink menu items that are fun, creative, and trendy.
• Greet and thank each guest in an enthusiastic, professional & timely manner.
• Be knowledgeable about the products and the services Mountain Creek provides.
• Serve the guests’ selections in a manner that is consistent with Mountain Creek‘s policies and procedures.
• Stock and maintain adequate inventory in designated workstation.
• Complete daily opening and closing checklists.
• Provide a positive team experience, earn customer loyalty, mutual respect and continuously striving to be the best.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Manager/Supervisor.
