Lamar University’s College of Fine Arts & Communication seeks an The Fine Arts and Events Coordinator to develop promotional communications, graphic design, digital content, and event marketing for college-wide initiatives. You will manage social media, web content, and promotional materials, supporting major events and coordinating scheduling and front-of-house operations.

The role requires collaboration with faculty and staff, weekend availability for events, and proficiency in Microsoft

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any field.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience developing written content for multiple communication platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to work weekends and attend events outside normal hours as needed.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Develop promotional and marketing materials for the College of Fine Arts & Communication, including posters, banners, programs, digital graphics, web content, advertisements, and other materials.
Collaborate with faculty, chairs, directors, and staff to promote college events, performances, concerts, programs, and initiatives.
Coordinate advertising and promotional activities with campus, community, regional, and media partners.
