Job summary

Racine Unified School District is seeking a dedicated teacher to deliver instruction aligned with the district curriculum. You will work with the building principal to continually improve instructional techniques and participate in committees addressing planning, research, curriculum, and public relations.

You will supervise school property and students, maintain classroom order, and report issues promptly.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree and WI teaching license required.
Ability to supervise and care for school property.
Commitment to professional activities and compliance with board rules.

Responsibilities

Instruct students within the curriculum plan and collaborate with building principal to improve instructional technique.
Participate actively in committees on planning, research, curriculum, or public relations.
Supervise furniture, books, supplies and equipment; instruct students in care of property; report abuses.
Maintain pupil classroom control and inform the principal when needed.
Possess responsibilities for student supervision beyond the classroom as assigned.
Open and close school sessions punctually per Board schedule.
Enforce Board rules within jurisdiction.
Observe pupils to identify defects and report to the principal.
Prepare lesson plans, records and reports as required by leadership.
Cooperate with parents to support students' best interests.
