Job summary

BGBx Consulting is seeking an Art Supervisor to support the Creative Director in delivering compelling visual concepts for pharmaceutical advertising. The role requires deep knowledge of pharma terminology and high-quality creative execution.

You will guide internal and freelance artists, manage client relationships, and ensure deadlines and standards across digital, print, and AV materials. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years of related graphic and supervisory experience and a BFA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and 4+ years in medical/pharmaceutical advertising.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Supervisory and management abilities.
• Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent design skills with typography, color, photography and art.
• Advanced Adobe suite proficiency and HTML/After Effects knowledge.
• Proficiency with Figma and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Establish credibility with clients through advanced thinking and clear communication.
• Maintains high standards of reproduction for digital, print, audio/visual materials.
• Monitors quality of finished art and conceptual materials by internal and freelance artists.
• Provides direction to department staff.
• Informs Creative Director on department status and hardware/software needs.
• Encourages professional development and meets deadlines.
• Liaises with Creative Director and teams to meet agency objectives.
• Manages vendor overtime and staffing needs.
