Plaza Health in New Jersey is seeking a creative, compassionate Recreation Director to lead our Activities Department in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. You will plan engaging programs that support residents’ physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well‑being, while fostering a sense of purpose and community.

You will assess residents, develop individualized activity plans, coordinate events, and supervise staff and volunteers.

Qualifikationen

• Certification as Activity Director or Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS, ADC, or equivalent), or eligibility to meet NJ requirements.
• Prior long-term care or senior living experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Warm, energetic, and patient, with a genuine passion for working with older adults.
