Job summary

Powder Springs Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a creative Activities Assistant who is warm, energetic, and caring to bring joy to residents. You will support the Activity Director, help plan engaging programs, and provide one-on-one visits for bed-bound residents.

No formal elder care required, CNA preferred but not required. Weekend availability is required. Join our supportive team and help enhance residents' social, emotional, and spiritual well-being through meaningful interactions.

Qualifications

• Warm, caring personality and a team-player attitude.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for working with seniors.
• Experience in activities or elder care is a plus, but not required.
• CNA preferred but not required.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in planning and running fun, engaging programs.
• Implement scheduled activities and provide one-on-one visits for bed-bound residents.
• Help residents with crafts and creative projects.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Support residents' social, emotional, and spiritual well-being through meaningful interactions.
