Job summary

Stoney Point Healthcare Center is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in delivering a creative and interactive activities program. This role ensures programs meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs while complying with regulations.

You will help plan calendars, coordinate transportation, document progress, and encourage participation in hobbies and reading. A high school diploma is required, and experience in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferably one year of experience in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct activities for individuals and groups.
• Support communication between residents, families, staff, and agencies.
• Help develop monthly activity calendar and track attendance.
• Assist with transportation arrangements for residents.
• Support care planning and resident assessments with the Activity Director.
• Maintain a safe, clean Activity Department environment.
