Qualifications

• Weekend availability to cover shifts.
• Caring, patient approach when working with elders.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stay mobile throughout shift.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead individual and group activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
• Bring activities to bed-bound or room-confined residents via music, reading, visits, and hands-on projects.
• Adapt activities on the spot to accommodate all residents.
• Help build and post the activity calendar.
• Document participation and progress notes and assist with inspections.
