Job summary

Schreiber Foods in West Bend, WI is seeking Machine Operators for cream cheese packaging lines. You will set up and operate packaging machines, sanitize equipment, and ensure safety and quality while meeting production goals.

Shift options include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with overtime and weekend work expected. A strong benefits package, sign-on bonus for third shift, and 40-hour guaranteed weeks are offered to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Reliability and regular attendance are required.
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated, detail orientated with a results-driven mindset.

• Basic math skills and reading comprehension.
• No degree required.

Responsibilities

• Machine set up and operate cream cheese packaging machines and code dating equipment.
• Review and follow production schedule and monitor for changes.
• Provide a detailed pass down to oncoming relief.
• Operate machines to meet production standards.
• Follow Safe Work SOPs for the position.
• Monitor product quality by visual checks, weight checks and packaging examination.
• Complete paperwork related to production rates, weight checks and downtime.
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, reassemble packaging equipment and document as required.
• Lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and work safely in a team environment.
• Perform other general labor tasks as assigned by leader.
