Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for Commercial Real Estate in McLean, VA. The role partners with Relationship Managers, Underwriters, and Credit Officers to drive credit risk analysis across the CRE portfolio as macroeconomic dynamics change.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
Master's degree in a quantitative field or MBA with quantitative concentration is preferred.
At least 2 years of professional experience performing analysis.

Responsibilities

Identify business challenges and opportunities and provide strategic or tactical recommendations.
Support credit risk improvements by analyzing drivers and testing hypotheses.
Develop hypotheses, run analyses, scope feasibility, lead implementation, and monitor results.
Collaborate with Underwriting, Credit, Product, Tech and others to drive improvements.
Communicate results clearly and influence stakeholders; drive short and long-term goals in a fast-paced environment.
