Job summary

Sheehan-Phinney-Bass- is seeking a Commercial Real Estate/Title Paralegal to support the Real Estate and Development Practice Group. You will perform full title searches, issue reports, and prepare drafts of conveyancing and closing documents for attorney review.

The role requires 5+ years of title experience, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and paralegal certification. Proficiency with MS Office and legal software is expected; continuing legal education is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years of commercial real estate/title paralegal experience.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and proficiency with MS Office and related legal programs.
• 5+ years of title experience; paralegal certification and producer title license preferred.
• Continuing legal education is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform full title searches and title updates.
• Prepare preliminary drafts of conveyancing and closing documents.
• Prepare settlement statements and real estate transfer tax forms.
• Review by an attorney and handle other tasks as assigned.
