Job summary

The Horizon Group is seeking a Structured Finance Associate for a client in Manhattan, NY. You will size and underwrite CRE loans including bridge, mezzanine, B-Notes and structured equity, while coordinating with borrowers, brokers and the closing team.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of CRE loan experience, strong analytical skills and fluency in MS Office tools, with familiarity in Argus, Bloomberg, CoStar or Reis preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CRE loan sizing, underwriting and credit analysis experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Argus, Bloomberg, CoStar and Reis familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Size and underwrite investments; analyze borrowers, markets and properties.
• Interface with borrowers and brokers to obtain required loan docs.
• Maintain loan files and checklists; document security interest.
• Prepare underwriting narratives and loan credit memorandums.
• Present deals to credit committee and coordinate with closing team.
• Support securitization, CLO matters, and market research as needed.
• Conduct site inspections and assist with due diligence.
