Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Auditing, Banking, Business Admin, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience closing or funding CRE loans required.
• Understanding of CRE loan closing processes and documentation requirements.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan documentation for CRE transactions, including reviewing collateral and preparing security agreements.
• Close construction and permanent loans for CRE through accurate and compliant processes.
• Review appraisals and pre-construction evaluations for new construction and development loans.
• Gather invoices, fees, and escrow settlement information to prepare funding statements and administer loan disbursements.
• Coordinate with title companies, escrow officers, and insurers to review title policies and balance settlements.
• Oversee loan files to ensure complete and accurate documentation, reporting, and accounting information.
• Assist in lien perfection on collateral and in extending/modifying loans as needed.
• Provide training and mentorship to newer team members and ensure regulatory compliance.
