Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field (Required).
• 2+ years of experience closing or funding commercial real estate secured loans (Required).
• Understand commercial real estate loan closing processes and documentation requirements (Required).
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely loan documentation for CRE secured transactions, including reviewing collateral and preparing security agreements.
• Support CRE business lines through closing and administration of construction and permanent loans.
• Review appraisals and pre-construction evaluations and validate evidence of prepaid construction costs before closing.
• Gather invoices, fees and escrow information to prepare funding statements and disbursements.
• Partner with title companies, escrow officers and insurance agents to review policies and statements.
• Oversee loan files to ensure complete documentation and reporting.
• Assist in liens perfection and in extensions/modifications of loans.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to newer team members.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures and government regulations.
