Job summary

Altus Group in Irvine is seeking a Real Estate Debt Valuation Analyst to support debt valuation, appraisal review, and appraisal management across commercial assets. You will analyze property data, build valuation models, review loan documents, and coordinate client workflows with a focus on real estate debt valuation.

The role emphasizes learning ARGUS, Excel modelling, and due diligence while gaining exposure to capital markets and advisory services.

Qualifications

The role requires strong analytical foundation in real estate finance, valuation, or related areas.
Comfort with analyzing property performance, loans, markets and data.
Proven ability to learn new concepts and apply analytical thinking.
Ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.
Demonstrated rigor when reviewing financial information and documents.

Responsibilities

Analyze property, market and submarket information to support debt valuation and appraisal activities.
Build discounted cash flow models and use ARGUS Enterprise for collateral valuations.
Review loan documents, appraisals and external reports for relevant details.
Coordinate asset management calls, lender packages and information requests.
Understand capital markets using resources like Bloomberg and market data.
Develop onboarding and training as part of professional development.
