Job summary

Altus Group, based in Irvine, is hiring a Real Estate Debt Valuation Analyst to support debt valuation, appraisal review, and management across commercial assets. You will analyze property and loan data, build valuation models, and assist client workflows while growing expertise in real estate debt valuation and capital markets.

You will develop skills in discounted cash flow modelling, Excel, ARGUS Enterprise, and due diligence, with structured onboarding and opportunities to pursue ARGUS

Qualifications

• Analytical foundation in finance, valuation, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts to valuation scenarios.
• Attention to detail in reviewing financial information and documents.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze property, market, and submarket data to support debt valuation and appraisal activities.
• Build discounted cash flow models in Excel; develop familiarity with ARGUS Enterprise.
• Review loan documents and appraisal reports, incorporating collateral performance.
• Coordinate asset management calls, lender packages, and information requests with clients.
• Track capital markets developments using resources like Bloomberg to understand market impacts on debt valuation.
• Participate in onboarding and professional development including USPAP and ARGUS certification.
