The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) is seeking a dedicated Corrections Officer in Orient, Ohio. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to ensure the safety and security of the facility, inmates, and staff.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and a valid driver's license. Responsibilities include supervising inmate activities, maintaining security, and conducting regular counts. Starting pay is $24.88/hour with the possibility of additional pay for 2nd or 3rd shift work.

High school diploma or G.E.D.; must have a valid driver’s license for positions assigned to transportation or a commercial driver’s license for commercial vehicles. Applicants must pass the Correction Officer Assessment within the past 24 months or be current employees of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction who have previously been certified as a correction officer. Probationary period is 365 days.
