Job summary

Clean Air LLC in Greensboro, NC seeks a skilled Crawlspace Encapsulation and Mold Technician to join our growing indoor air quality team. You will install vapor barriers, moisture controls, and remediation systems in homes, helping improve health and safety.

Ideal candidates have experience in crawlspace encapsulation or mold remediation, can work in confined spaces, lift heavy loads, and maintain tools and safety protocols with a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in crawlspace encapsulation, mold remediation, or a related field preferred.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, crawlspaces, and physically demanding environments.
• Knowledge of moisture control, vapor barriers, and mold remediation best practices.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform strenuous physical labor.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Install crawlspace encapsulation systems including vapor barriers, drainage matting, and moisture control solutions
• Perform mold inspection, remediation, and treatment in crawlspaces, basements, and other affected areas
• Assess and document moisture levels, mold growth, and structural concerns in crawlspace environments
• Operate dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and other remediation equipment safely and effectively
• Communicate findings and project progress clearly with homeowners and team leads
• Follow all safety protocols including proper use of PPE and containment procedures
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in clean, working condition
