Job summary

Staffing Network is seeking an experienced woodworker for crate building and foam assembly on a temp-to-hire basis. The role runs Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm, in a woodshop environment in Brookfield, CT.

You’ll handle case/crate production, adhere to drawings, and maintain tools while ensuring safety and quality. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of wood crafting experience, familiarity with blueprints, and proficiency with power tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years wood crafting experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience in assembly and manufacturing of wood-based products.
• Ability to read blueprints and build from drawings.
• Strong basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with power tools such as drills and saws.
• Able to work independently under minimal supervision and manage multiple projects.

We are seeking an experienced woodworker to join our crate building team on a temp to hire basis. The employee’s main tasks will consist of case/crate building as well as foam assembly and material handling.Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm Pay Range: $ 20.00-26.00DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Case and crate building• Foam assembly and material handling.• Maintain safe work environment and housekeeping standards in woodshop area.• Check work throughout builds to ensure quality conformance according to the drawings.• Responsible for maintaining all tools and equipment and reporting any issue to thesupervisor.• Works as part of a production team.
