Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Wood Assembly / Crate Builder in Sutton, MA to build wooden shipping crates and pallets. This hands-on role requires comfort with power tools and experience assembling products.

You will measure, position, and assemble wood components, safely operate nail guns and drills, follow production instructions, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace as part of a production team.

Wood Assembly / Crate Builder

We’re hiring Wood Assemblers / Crate Builders to build wooden shipping crates and pallets. This is a hands‑on position for someone who is comfortable using power tools and has experience building or assembling products.

What You’ll Do

• Build and assemble wooden shipping crates and pallets
• Measure, position, and assemble wood components
• Safely use nail guns, drills, hammers, and other hand/power tools
• Follow assembly instructions and production requirements
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work as part of a production team to meet daily goals

What We’re Looking For

• Previous wood assembly, carpentry, construction, crate/pallet building, or production assembly experience
• Hands‑on experience building items such as furniture, shelving, sheds, cabinets, or similar products
• Comfortable and efficient using nail guns and drills
• Ability to perform physical, hands‑on work throughout the shift
• Steel-toe footwear required
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Must be able to complete required pre‑employment screening, including a basic math assessment
